New Arrivals

I’m delighted to share that on Saturday 9th May, Elsie welcomed her puppies safely into the world.

They decided to make their arrival a little earlier than expected which certainly kept me on my toes, but I’m beyond thrilled to welcome eight beautiful puppies into the world. It’s fair to say Elsie and I are both a little tired after a very long couple of days… although she’s handling it far better than I am!

Elsie is proving to be a wonderful mother, and both she and her puppies are doing brilliantly. At the moment, the babies’ days consist of sleeping, feeding, and making the most precious little squeaks, while Elsie works tirelessly to keep them warm, clean, well fed and content with plenty of her liquid gold milk.

I’m also so pleased to share that every puppy is already spoken for, with carefully chosen families eagerly waiting to welcome them home when the time is right. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that each little one has a wonderful future ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has followed along and waited so patiently. I’m so excited to watch these little ones grow and will be sharing updates as they develop over the coming weeks.

The fourth generation of Marcasite Poodles has officially arrived 🐩✨

Welcome to the world, little ones.

Not Long Now!

It is just over a week until our new generation of Marcasite poodle puppies join us, but to date I don't think Elsie has realised!

While I'm busy ticking off puppy prep lists and counting down the days, Elsie is simply living her best life… blissfully unaware that motherhood is just around the corner. Right now, she’s far more interested in charging around like a loon with her extended family on our walks and making the most of every muddy sprint, game of chase, and windswept adventure before her life slows down for a little while after she welcome her puppies.

I’m a big believer that appropriate exercise is so important for expectant mums. Keeping them fit, active, and mentally fulfilled during pregnancy helps maintain muscle tone, supports their overall wellbeing, and allows them to continue doing what they enjoy for as long as they’re comfortable.

Here are a few photos of Elsie doing what she does best… running full speed with her family, playing ball games with my nephew and having absolutely no idea what’s coming next.
